The MPOA submitted an application in 2015 to be part of the Watershed's Canada Fish habitat Enhancement Project (see 2016 AGM meeting minutes for details).  We learned recently Watershed's Canada was approved for their DFO fisheries enhancement grant and that Mazinaw Lake has been approved for brush bundle fish habitat enhancement funding in 2018. Basically this allows the placement of 12 brush bundles for fish (sites yet to be determined on the lake).
