Tim Dillon, a member of the MPOA, is coordinating an effort to have Kawartha Utility Services come in to do a pump-out, hopefully this month.  They require a minimum of 10 participants in order to make it feasible to come up to the lake and right now, there are 7 cottagers signed up.  If you are in need of a pump out, please consider doing it now to make this happen, and to ensure your septic is good for the next 5 years or so...it could be awhile before the next organized pump out!  Last time there was an organized septic pump out was 2013.

The cost is $950.00 + HST = $1,073.50 per tank pumped. (they accept cheques, MasterCard & VISA).  The barge needs a minimum of 3' of water to navigate.  Note:  they cannot pump outhouses.
