About Us
The MPOA is an unincorporated, not-for-profit association of individuals formed to promote the preservation and protection of natural and scenic beauty, fish, wildlife and water quality of the area. The MPOA strives to advance the common interests of its members dealing with different levels of governments, organizations and agencies relative to the Mazinaw Lake community.

Membership Benefits

The quality of our lake, and our experiences on the lake are paramount to what we do. We represent all cottagers by being a 'collective voice' to ensure the right things happen. Members receive emails on important events that might impact them such as Township Covid updates, fire bans, water levels, etc.

The MPOA Lake Directory is treasured by, and only available to, members. The directory lists cottage information and contains maps of the lake. Members have used the information in the directory to alert absent owners of issues on their property.

The Facebook Page are available to post Buy & Sell plus Lost & Found items (lake related) at no cost to you.

The Spring Newsletter is packed with information that you will find yourself referring to throughout the season with information that you will find yourself referring to throughout the season.

There is an AGM (Annual General Meeting) held in the spring where you can meet your board, learn about what they are doing on your behalf, and have your say.
How to become a Member

Membership is for a calendar year, from July to June.

Dues are $20 per residence. Only one membership per residence is required (irrespective of the number of families sharing a cottage)

The information on the Member Information Form is also used for the MPOA Lake Directory.
Ways to pay for your membership

e-Transfer. This is the preferred method for our volunteer Treasurer (saves time & tracking). Send the e-transfer to "treasurer@lakemazinaw.ca". Please include the 911 number of your property with your first and last name in the notes section of the e-transfer. This is very important so we apply the payment to the right cottager!

Cheque. The mailing address is MPOA, P.O. Box 251, Cloyne Ontario K0H 1K0. Your cheque should be made out to "MPOA". Please write the 911 number of your property and your email address in the note section of the cheque.

Marinas. Brown's Camp and Smart's Marina accept MPOA membership payments.
