Fundraising
Donations are needed to meet the ongoing challenges of Invasive Species in our lake, no matter which approach is taken.
Please consider a donation by:
• etransfer to treasurer@lakemazinaw.ca (Please note "donation" in your e-transfer message. )
• cheques can be mailed to MPOA, P.O. Box 251, Cloyne Ontario K0H 1K0. Your cheque should be made out to "MPOA".
Here's an update on the MPOA directory that we are planning to produce for the spring of 2018.
We had an exceptional response to our efforts to expand the membership of MPOA with a total of 222 properties now registered around the lake. If you know of a neighbour who may wish to join but hasn't yet, please send them to our website at lakemazinaw.ca, membership tab or suggest they send a note to communications@lakemazinaw.ca .
The information you have provided will allow us to provide an updated MPOA directory with essential contact information for each MPOA member, but please remember, if anything changes, be sure to send an email to communications@lakemazinaw.ca so your information can be updated before our spring production. We only plan to update the directory about every 5 years. The directories will be available at the next AGM on July 1st. We realize not everyone can attend and so there will be more information on how our current MPOA members can get their copies closer to the date.
We are making the new directory a little more robust, if cost permits, with some additional information, such as contact information for emergency services, pictures, and advertisements from local business. If you have a service / product you would like to advertise, or you know of a local business that you have used and highly recommend, please send us a note at communications@lakemazinaw.ca. The fee for advertisement will be $150 for a business card size ad, with approximately 8 advertisers to a page. Since the directory is a 5 year duration, that's only $30/year. There is value to our association when members renew their MPOA membership each year. Therefore, for our current MPOA members with products or services of potential interest to our members, the advertising fee is $50. If you are interested or know of a local business that is interested, to make sure you are included, please send us a note with your intent before December 1/17.
As a reminder, the directory will only be provided to current MPOA members and emergency services.
