Welcome back to another wonderful summer season at Mazinaw Lake. 

This is to let you know about 4 topics:  The AGM Meeting; Filling of MPOA Board positions; the 2018 Directories and Renewal of your MPOA Membership

AGM meeting - June 30, 2018

Please come to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held at the Pineview Free Methodist Church 14397 Hwy 41, Cloyne on Saturday June 30^th, 2018. Doors open at 9:15 for coffee, Meet & Greet, and to renew your membership ($20) and receive your new MPOA directory.  The business meeting starts at 10:00. The draft agenda is posted on our website but any final changes will be made one week prior to the meeting. As part of the meeting, last year's minutes will be approved so please take a few minutes to review them prior to the meeting.  They can be found on our website under the Meeting tab. Thank you, and we are looking forward to seeing you at the AGM!

Please consider bringing a non-perishable donation for the local food bank to the meeting and we will drop it off.

2018 MPOA Directories

The directories are ready! If you are unable to attend the AGM, you can get one at Smart's or Brown's when renewing your 2018 membership, or if you paid online, please contact Francine Bates (647-919-5775) or Kate McGovern (613-878-1211) to make arrangements to receive your copy.

Open MPOA Board positions

The three year term of some board members are up and two have declared not to stand for another term.   Our association can only function successfully if enough interested individuals come forward to work on behalf of the membership for the well being of our community and the lake. This is your opportunity to give back to the association and to represent the membership.  

Nominations should be sent to  communications@lakemazinaw.ca.  Candidates, please send a brief introduction with the nomination or introduce yourself briefly at the AGM.

Membership Renewal

• The membership fee for 2018 remains at $20 per residence (irrespective of the number of families sharing a cottage). 
• Please note the membership fees are due by July 1st each year.  Thank you! 

• Options to pay your membership:

  • at the AGM on June 30th

  • mail a cheque to MPOA, P.O. Box 251, Cloyne Ontario K0H 1K0. Cheque should be made out to "MPOA"

  • pay at Smarts Marina

  • pay at Brown's camp (at the office or their after hours box)

  • contact any of the MPOA directors if their location is more convenient for you...please call ahead to make sure they will be there

  • pay using a credit card online from the lakemazinaw.ca website (click on Membership tab; then click on Member login).  If you've forgotten your password, please send a quick email to communications@lakemazinaw.ca to have it reset. 

Please note that New members are welcome!  Please fill out the new members form located on our lakemazinaw.ca website, membership tab, new members and send to communications@lakemazinaw.ca.  Thank you.
