I was asked at the AGM to have another organized kayak trip this summer.  Last year we went up the Mississippi River (north of Brown's Trailer Park) in mid August.  This year, we may do a south lake adventure, perhaps in August or September, after the bugs have died down a little, so stay tuned! Another thought,  if people are okay with putting their kayak on their vehicle, is we could go to another lake, like Ashby Lake for a nice group paddle.

For now, please just let me know if you:

1) want to be part of a distribution list of MPOA kayakers who can share when they are going out, and where they are going, and you can join in if you are up.  If so, please send me the email address you would like to share with just this kayak group and where you are located on Mazinaw Lake.

2) would be interested in going somewhere where you might have to drive a short ways

3) are available in August, or September

That said, if you would like to do something this Saturday morning on the lake, please let me know that too.  Perhaps meet at the mouth of Campbell's bay (at the Sand Bay) and go around Bear Island.  I will then send out further information to just those who want more information.  Thanks.
